About Sam Bridges
Samuel L. Bridges is a 46 year
old criminal defense attorney
located in the Raleigh area of North
Carolina. He has been practicing in
the area of criminal defense and
traffic court for 18 years. He is a
graduate of the
Law School at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Mr. Bridges has been licensed by the
North Carolina State Bar since
1990 and is an attorney in good
standing. Mr. Bridges completed his
undergraduate degree at
Wesleyan University in
Middletown, Connecticut.
Mr. Bridges has worked hard to

particularly Wake County.

traffic citations.
Mr. Bridges has represented clients
in the Court of Appeals of North
Carolina, has defended clients in
state court charged with capital
murder and in the process supervised
pretrial investigations involving
fingerprint, firearms, psychiatric,
and forensic identity (DNA) experts.
Mr. Bridges has also defended dozens
of clients in multi-kilo drug and
weapons prosecutions in the
federal court in the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Mr. Bridges resides in
Garner a Wake County suburb of
Raleigh, with his wife and two
children. He served as Mayor of
Garner, a town of 24,000 residents,
from 2001-2005. He has worked as a
volunteer board member for the YMCA
of Garner, as volunteer assistant
basketball coach for
Garner High School and has
coached youth football and baseball.
